How to Claim Prize Money: Nagaland vs West Bengal
Winning is the hard part, but claiming your prize shouldn't be. Depending on the amount you won and where you are located, the process differs significantly.
Small Prizes (Below ₹10,000)
If you won a 5th Prize (₹120), 4th Prize (₹250), or 3rd Prize (₹450), the process is simple:
- Visit the retailer or agent where you bought the ticket.
- They will verify the ticket visually.
- They will pay you cash instantly (sometimes deducting a small commission).
Big Prizes (Above ₹10,000)
For prizes like ₹9,000 (2nd Prize) or the ₹1 Crore Bumper, you cannot claim cash from a shop. You must go through the official legal channel.
